Travelling by car via Flachauwinkl
Take the Tauern Autobahn A 10 to Flachauwinkl. The valley and service stations “Highport”, probably Austria’s most modern lift station, takes you directly to the lifts Highliner I + II and unlimited skiing fun.
There’s sufficient free parking for cars and busses in Flachauwinkl.
Travelling by car via Altenmarkt
The ski paradise Zauchensee is only a two-hour drive from Munich and 45 minutes from the city of Salzburg. Take the motorway A 8 from Munich to Salzburg. Then change to the A 10 (Tauern Autobahn) until Knoten Ennstal. Pass Altenmarkt via the romantic, always perfectly snow-cleared Zauchenseestrasse and reach the World Cup-tested ski resort Zauchensee within 15 minutes. All roads are fully expanded, even though snow chains will be occasionally required in case of heavy snowfall.
Having arrived in Zauchensee you can either park your vehicle in the centrally located underground parking facility at Weltcuparena Zauchensee (parking space for 340 cars and 20 busses) or on one of the many parking sites directly at the ski lift stations. Underground parking for skiers is free of charge from 8 am to 10 pm, but don’t forget to have your ticket stamped at the main pay desk of the Weltcuparena before leaving. The escalator in front of the underground parking facility leads directly to the ski lifts. Our parking attendants gladly assist you in finding the right parking space.
Attention: Road taxes incur for using Austrian motorways! You can obtain the road tax disc at border-zone petrol stations and kiosks.
